Unani Medicine for digestion and migraine
Itrifal Ustukhuddus is an Unani medicine that has potential health benefits for headaches and is useful in migraine. This formulation contains Triphala and Ustukhuddus as the main ingredients. Ustukhuddus has beneficial effects on the brain and nerves and Triphala acts as a detoxifier and helps with digestive ailments. Due to Triphala, it is beneficial for constipation as well. Its continuous use is beneficial for maintaining black hair.
Headache & Migraine: Both Ustukhuddus and Almond oil increase the strength of the brain and act as a brain tonic. Generally, a headache occurs due to activities of brain structures, which are pain sensitive. Lavandula Stoechas/ Ustukhuddus also reduces irritation of the trigeminal nerve, which also causes migraine headaches or trigeminal neuralgia.
Laxative: The mild laxative action of Itrifal Ustukhuddus is due to Triphala and the three types of Haritaki used in the formulations.
